Scarlet & Dan Pre-Shoot

Had a lovely Sunday at Cheshire Woodland Weddings venue and our first meet up with Scarlet and Dan, Mum’s Tracy, and Sally.
After a quick introduction Scarlet and Dan showed us around the venue and all the exciting activities that had planned for their wedding day.

The location for the ceremony will be taking place in a beautiful woodland, lit with lights and looking very magical indeed. Dan informed me that the rings are going to be delivered by an owl !

The Owl would be arriving at the top of the isle entrance and fly down the isle and deliver the rings – how amazing is that, which was a great bit of fore-warning as I would need to find a place to position the camera to video it’s arrival with no obstructions – we would cover this with two video cameras, one at the position of take-off, the other at the position of landing.

Cheshire Woodland Weddings has a falconry arena and there will be a falconry display on the day – our Owl ring bearer was also here today to say hello!

Dan and Scarlet then took us to see the ‘Barn’ reception area, all very well laid out with WIFI and internal PA systems, the shoot here would not cause us any problems as there is plenty of space and good positions to capture the arrival of the newly wedded couple.

With a ton of activities taking place on the day for guests to enjoy including Segway's, golf, rifle range and more, it’s going to be a great day at a great location to capture the beautiful joining in marriage of Scarlet and Dan.
