Street Photography
It’s incredible how much goes on in this little Town. I think just about every season is celebrated in some musical form or another, ceremonies to bring in new Mayors, Hungarian links not to mention street fairs and annual shows.
July the 4th was the turn of the annual Montgomery Street Fair, our band Monty Folk had a turn on stage followed by other local artists from Dixie bands, County and Western, Ukulele and much more not to mention Sally Gartells Academy of Dance.
The great thing about these little fairs and shows, it does allow you to hone your street photography skills in a friendly and familiar environment. If your new to street photography, I highly recommend immersing yourself in some local events although sometimes, you can get lost trying to capture the moment as your world view becomes a rectangle through the lens, I am awful for doing that where It could otherwise pay to pop your head up from time to time and ask for a few camera poses…..
