It's a very different style of photographyI've been very fortunate just recently to work with Aubrey Kirkham FD providing live streams for their families. As services get bigger, more media is required to convey those precious memories through family tributes. A recent request to assist for a large service of some 400 people, involved; projectors, monitors, sound systems, including Bluetooth connectivity as well as live streaming for distant relatives. Aubrey Kirkham also asked if I could fit in.....

Bull Dingle Are you Nervous!Had a message from Sally, asking if I could do a spot of photography – in about 3 hours’ time, short notice she admitted but someone had let her down! Let her down, if this is a dance shoot, I normally do these for her, I know all the dance moves! ……. but panic not Adam, reading the message again, it looked like this was for a meeting at a community hall. Montgomery Town Football Club PhotoshootTony Hughes asked if I would photograph his local football team, Montgomery Town FC one Saturday morning before a match. No problem I reply, asked what he was looking for so I could get an idea of the type of shoot he needed. I roll up on the Saturday afternoon and meet up with Richard and Ellie, we have a chat about the format and Ellie said she would be happy to organise the players for a group and individual shots as required – perfect. Welshpool Town CouncilGreat to be back with Welshpool Town Council again for their annual portrait and group photoshoot.As always, a real pleasure to be doing this and lovely to meet the new town clerk, Richard Williams.As per the previous years, a portable studio was setup in the main hall area, backdrop, 2 soft boxes with speedlights and an open speedlight on the background to provide distance between the subject and background.2 studio flash lights were used for the group photos in the chambe.....

Fish LegalRiver Wye Photoshoot Ross On WyeMay 24th 2025 – location, the river Wye in a field somewhere along the A40! This was a long time in the making as Penny had tried to arrange this during the winter of 2024 but due to incredibly bad weather, it had to be postponed on a number of occasions. We finally got there though, and the brief for this shoot was to capture the anglers happy and sad as with other Fish Legal shoots. This was in fact Penny’s final shoot with me as she would be stepp.....

MWVMC 2025 Great to be invited back to the MWVMC in May to record the day. Despite the unfortunate weather conditions, it did not deter any visitors by the looks of things. Brilliant ring entertainment and amazing local craft, food and drink stands. An amazing effort by the MWVMC committee and volunteers - they nailed it again this year - looking forward to next year and at this rate, that will soon come round! sorry dude

Annie from RG Peate called to ask if I would make contact with a family of a young man who had passed away recently to look at creating an audio-visual presentation for his funeral service. I was more than happy too and contacted Sarah to discuss further. We arranged to meet at the church to see how we could best place AV equipment to fit in with the service. Sarah explained that her brother Rob was a very popular man who passed away before his time due to an awful disease and as such was expect.....

Ensemble Cymru Ensemble CymruAmazing musicianship and a beautiful location – a real pleasure to be asked by Peryn Clement-Evans, artistic director for Ensemble Cymru, to video and record a series of Chamber Music events at Gregynog Hall. We initially met up to look at how we could best capture these events with an emphasis on the idyllic surroundings of a historic music room at Gregynog and Ensemble Cymru’s passion for classical music accessible to everyone, from families with young children.....

Sally Gartell - Summer SpectacularWell – I have to say – hats off to Sally and her amazing team, what a performance and what a journey leading up to the show at Theatre Hafren. It’s been an absolute pleasure being involved with this. The rehearsals were amazing, seeing first hand the amount of effort put in to getting the dances spot on and the determination of the girls to be the best they can. Mid Wales Vintage Machinery ClubIt was a real pleasure to be invited back to the Mid Wales Vintage Machinery Club rally, Caersws Vintage Rally at Red House Farm.Last year was a great introduction for us to see how things came together and this year we were blown away with how much the whole setup had been improved. This was obviously as a result of the call out last year for feedback from the clubs secretary Toby Lloyd and the whole committee obviously pulled resources together to make this year.....

Photoshoot at Gregynog Hall A Conversation.....It started with a conversation in a pub, I was filming a local band and bumped into Sally who was, as it happened, dancing away to that local band.
